Deborah Gillam-Harry is a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) and Talent Coach with over 30 years of experience helping individuals navigate their careers. She has a diverse background in both the entertainment industry and employment coaching, empowering actors, creative professionals, and job seekers to achieve their goals. As the former owner of Deborah Harry Talent (1987-2009) in Vancouver, she represented actors, directors, writers, and voice-over artists—negotiating contracts, packaging projects, and producing film productions. She also served as Vice President of Women in Film and Video Vancouver, hosted industry networking events, and mentored professionals looking to advance in the entertainment industry.
Building on her extensive coaching expertise, Deborah transitioned into career development and employment coaching, where she has spent 15+ years guiding individuals from youth to mature professionals. She specializes in resume and cover letter writing, interview coaching, LinkedIn optimization, and job search strategies. Having worked as an Employment Coach and Career Advisor for organizations such as Lighthouse Labs, WorkBC, and The Art Institute of Vancouver, she has successfully helped clients secure employment and build meaningful careers across various industries. She also develops employer partnerships and facilitates career workshops to connect job seekers with hiring professionals.
